- 1kg of potatoes
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
- grated nutmeg
- 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
- salt
Bring the milk, nutmeg, butter and salt to the boil. Add the mashed potatoes at once and stir well.
Whip the mixture well with a wooden spoon until it's white and creamy, and serve, or put in a casserole, dot with some butter and brown under the grill or in the oven.
